Do you accept custom orders?
I currently do not do custom orders since, due to demand, my current large monthly releases are what personally works the best for me as an artist!
When will my order ship?
We try to have orders shipped within 5-7 business days! Merch items, however, are all made to order and thus can take about 2-5 weeks to be shipped out! You should receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is shipped. These timeframes may experience small delays due to the ongoing pandemic, so if you have any further questions or concerns, please email us here
What if my tracking number says my order was delivered but I did not receive it?
If the tracking number you receive says your order has been delivered but you have not received it, we ask that you please check with both your neighbors to see if it may have accidentally been mis-delivered by USPS, and your local post office (USPS) because they should be able to track it down for you! At least one of these two methods works almost every time this issue occurs, but if it doesn't please contact us here!
Are your bugs ethically sourced?
Yes! All of the bugs I use in my work are found already dead of natural causes and sent/given to me to memorialize in a piece of art.
How can I send you a bug?
If you ever find a bug that has passed away and would like to send them to me to preserve, please see my To Send a Bug page for the address and instructions!
What materials do you use?
My pieces are made using high quality, yellowing resistant resin! The chains and findings I use are either gold or silver plated, with the base metal being brass. All rings on my website are either gold vermeil, sterling silver, gold/silver plated, or brass. Gold and silver plated rings have a base metal that is brass. For allergy purposes, please be aware that other materials I may use include clear gorilla glue or clear nail polish to cover/fix small imperfections!
What if a piece I bought arrives broken or damaged?
If a piece arrives broken or damaged, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with clear pictures and we will work together to rectify the situation from there!
How do I properly wash my embroidered apparel?
My embroidered hoodies and shirts should be machine-washed on cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. For drying, either let air dry or tumble-dry using a cool setting.
Is it possible to see what pieces will be in an update before it drops?
I currently have a Patreon where I post all of my pieces in an update before they are all listed on my website! This is also where you can get behind the scenes looks as to what new designs and projects I am working on that haven't been shown anywhere else! I didn’t receive everything in my order! What do I do?
Please keep in mind that if you ordered a merch item + a resin piece or multiple merch items, they will most likely be shipped separately due to merch items being made to order and shipped from a different location! If you are worried one of your packages is lost or isn’t coming, please contact us here!
To ensure your wearable art stays in pristine condition for as long as possible, please follow these care instructions:
- Do not leave your resin pieces in direct sunlight for long periods of time. The resin I use is yellowing resistant, but any type/brand of resin will yellow if exposed to UV rays for too long!
- Please take off your jewelry before coming into contact with water or before any intense physical activity! Gold and silver plated chain/rings/etc. will tarnish more quickly when exposed to liquids and oils!
- If you accidentally scratch or nick the surface of your resin piece, a coat of clear nail polish can often fix it up pretty well! If any, more substantial damage comes to your piece, please reach out to me as I can often fix any breakage or imperfection! (I do ask that you pay for shipping if the piece is broken/damaged after arrival)
